Ingredients list for Pepper Garlic Rice - SK Khazana

  • 1 medium Green capsicum cut into small cubes
  • 1 medium Red capsicum cut into small cubes
  • 1 medium Yellow capsicum cut into small cubes
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups Basmati Rice
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Spring onion bulb chopped
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 stalk Spring onion greens chopped
  • Garnish
  • Fried garlic
  • drops Spring onion greens diagonally sliced


  1. Take Basmati Rice in a bowl. Add water and set aside for 30-40 minutes. Drain the rice and set aside.
  2. Heat sufficient water in a nonstick pan, add salt and rice, cook till ¾ done. Strain and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add spring onion bulb and garlic saute for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add green capsicum, red capsicum, and yellow capsicum and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add rice and mix well. Add salt, crushed pepper and soy sauce and mix well.
  6. Add vinegar and spring onion greens mix well.
  7. Serve hot garnished with fried garlic and spring onion greens.
