Ingredients list for Pepper Garlic Rice - SK Khazana
- 1 medium Green capsicum cut into small cubes
- 1 medium Red capsicum cut into small cubes
- 1 medium Yellow capsicum cut into small cubes
- 3-4 Garlic cloves sliced
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati Rice
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 Spring onion bulb chopped
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- 1 stalk Spring onion greens chopped
- Garnish
- Fried garlic
- drops Spring onion greens diagonally sliced
Method
- Take Basmati Rice in a bowl. Add water and set aside for 30-40 minutes. Drain the rice and set aside.
- Heat sufficient water in a nonstick pan, add salt and rice, cook till ¾ done. Strain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add spring onion bulb and garlic saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add green capsicum, red capsicum, and yellow capsicum and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add rice and mix well. Add salt, crushed pepper and soy sauce and mix well.
- Add vinegar and spring onion greens mix well.
- Serve hot garnished with fried garlic and spring onion greens.
