Ingredients list for Paneer Sandwich
- 8 quarter Paneer (cottage cheese)
- 2 medium Potatoes blanched, peeled and sliced
- as required Mint chutney
- as required Strawberries hulled
- 1 medium Beetroot boiled, peeled and sliced
- 2 medium Tomatoes cut into roundels
- 2 medium Cucumbers cut into roundels
- medium Onions cut into thin strips
Method
- Apply mint chutney on one side of all the paneer slices. Arrange 4 slices on the work top with chutney side up.
- Place layers of potato, beetroot, tomato, cucumber and onion.
- Cover each with another slice of paneer, chutney side facing down and press lightly.
- Heat a griller and cook the sandwiches till golden brown.
- Arrange onion rings and thin strips of green capsicum on a serving plate.
- Cut each sandwich into 2 pieces, transfer them onto the serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
