Ingredients list for Palasani Zunaka

  • 1/4 Cabbage
  • 1 medium Onions
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Method

  1. Wash the cabbage and slice it thinly. Peel the onion, halve it and slice thinly into half rings.
  2. Slit the green chilli, de-seed and finely slice. Fry the onion in oil until soft but not browned. Add the mustard seeds and cook until they crackle.
  3. Add the chilli and cabbage, with 1 tablespoon water and salt. Cover the pan and cook for about 6 minutes, or until the cabbage is just soft. Serve hot.
