Ingredients list for Orange Chenna Poda
- 3 tablespoons Orange Flavour Powder
- 2 litres Milk
- 3 tablespoons Semolina (rawa/suji)
- 4 tablespoons Sugar
- a pinch Green cardamom powder
- for greasi Ghee
Method
- Heat milk in a non stick handi. When the milk comes to a boil, add the orange powder and stir till the milk curdles and forms chenna.
- Strain chenna, tie it in a muslin cloth and hang it to remove all the excess water.
- Transfer the chenna into a bowl, add suji, sugar and green cardamom powder and mash well.
- Grease an aluminium mould with ghee. Transfer the chenna into the mould and press lightly. Cover and put some weight on the lid.
- Cook on high heat for 2 minutes. Lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from the mould, cut and serve.
