Ingredients list for Oats And Rice Kheer

  • 1/2 Oats
  • 5 cups Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Rice soaked for 2 hours
  • 4 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespo Almond slivers
  • 1 tablespo Pistachio slivers
  • a pinch Saffron

Method

  1. Pour the milk into a deep non-stick pan and bring it to a boil. Add rice and simmer, stirring continuously, till it is cooked.
  2. Add sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar dissolves. Add oats, mix well and cook for five minutes.
  3. Add almond and pistachio slivers, saffron and mix well.
  4. Serve hot garnished with some almond and pistachio slivers.
