Ingredients list for Nutty Apple Rings
- + for garnishing Groundnut (cashewnuts, almonds, pistachios), 2-3 tablespoons
 - 2 medium Apples
 - ½ Lemon
 - + 2 tablespoons Butter for greasing
 - 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
 - 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar/jaggery
 
Method
- Preheat oven at 180ºC. Grease a baking tray with butter.
 - Trim the tops and core the apples. Cut into thick slices and rub them with lemon.
 - Combine nuts, brown sugar, butter and refined flour in a bowl and mix well. Add cinnamon powder and mix again.
 - Place apple slices on the greased baking tray, fill each with nutty mixture and spread some on top.
 - Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
 - Serve hot garnished with nuts.
