Ingredients list for Mushroom And Corn Toast

  • 8 Button Mushroom sliced
  • 1/2 cup American Corn Kernels boiled
  • 8 Bread slices
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 medium Onion chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Processed cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for a minute. Add onion and sauté till translucent.
  2. Add salt and sauté till lightly browned. Add mushrooms and corn kernels and mix well. Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray and toast in the preheated oven till crisp. Remove from oven and set aside.
  3. Add cream and cheese to the mushroom mixture and mix well. Spread this mixture over the toasts generously. Place the tray in preheated oven again and bake till the cheese melts. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley.
