Moong Dal

Method

  1. Drain the water from the soaked green gram thoroughly and spread it on an absorbent paper, cover with another absorbent paper and pat dry. Transfer the grams onto a plate.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Slide the green grams into hot oil, deep-fry till golden. Drain on a fresh absorbent paper.
  4. Sprinkle salt over the grams and mix well. Let it cool down to room temperature.
  5. Transfer into an airtight jar and store. Serve as required.
