Ingredients list for Molten Marble Cake
- ½ cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 cup Dark chocolate chopped
- 8 tablespoons Peanut butter
- ½ cup Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 6 tablespoons Powdered sugar
- 1 tablespo + for dusting Cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking powder
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.Line a baking tray with individual silicon cupcake moulds.
- Fill a piping bag with peanut butter.
- Combine chocolate and butter in a microwave proof bowl and melt in microwave for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and mix well.
- Break eggs into another bowl. Add powdered sugar and whisk with an electric beater. Add melted chocolate-butter mixture and whisk.
- Sieve together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into the egg mixture and fold in well to make a smooth batter.
- Half fill the cupcake moulds with this batter and pipe out some peanut butter in the center. Pour remaining batter on top filling ¾ of the moulds.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Place a fork on one side of a serving platter, dust some cocoa powder on top and remove the fork to create its impression.
- Place the moulds inverted on the prepared platter, demould and serve hot.
