Ingredients list for Mocha Cupcakes-SK Khazana
- 2 tablespoons Instant coffee powder
- 1 tablespoon Coffee decoction
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 cup Castor sugar
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 cup Melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1/2 teaspoon Vinegar
- for dusting Icing sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and coffee powder in a bowl.
- Add butter, vanilla essence, vinegar and coffee decoction and mix well.
- Add ¼ cup water and mix. Add another ¼ cup water and beat with a hand blender to a smooth and lump-free batter.
- Line a cupcake mould with paper liners and spoon in the batter till ¾ full. Gently tap the mould, keep the mould in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat, cool and demould.
- Dust icing sugar and serve.
