Ingredients list for Melting Moments
- 1½ cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1 cup Butter
- 60 grams Icing sugar
- 40 grams Cornflour/ corn starch
- a pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 cup Corn flakes
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with a silicon mat.
- Take butter in a bowl. Add icing sugar and mix well. Sieve together flour, cornflour and salt into the bowl and fold in well. Add vanilla essence and fold in well.
- Transfer cornflakes into a plastic zip-lock bag, seal and crush with a rolling pin. Spread on a plate.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls.
- Coat each ball with crushed cornflakes and arrange them on the lined baking tray.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
- Serve.
