Ingredients
- 1¼ cups fresh green pea puree
- 1½ cups whole wheat flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon ginger-green chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon oil + for drizzling + for deep frying
- Sabzi to serve
Method
- In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt, ginger-green chilli paste, green pea puree and mix well and add 1 tablespoon oil. Knead to stiff dough and set aside for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Drizzle a little oil on a worktop. Slightly flatten the dough balls and roll each into puri.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the puris till puffed up. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with Sabzi.
