Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Medium potatoes peeled 4-5

  • Salt to taste

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Nutmeg (jaiphal) powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley finely chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh parsley sprig for garnish


Step 1

Boil sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add salt. Cut potatoes into cubes, add and cook till potatoes become soft. Mash and strain into another non-stick pan.

Step 2

Place this pan on heat, add milk and mix well till smooth. Add butter, nutmeg powder and parsley and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with parsley sprig and serve hot.
