Ingredients list for Mango halwa
- 1 cup Mango Pulp
- 2 tablespoons Semolina
- 1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
- 2 cups Mawa (khoya)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Mango essence
- 1/4 cup Cashewnuts chopped
- 1/4 cup Chironji
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add semolina and saute till little brown.
- In another pan one and a half cups of water and bring it to boil. Add this to the semolina and mix well.
- Add mawa, sugar and mango pulp and mix well. Cover the lid and cook on low heat for seven to eight minutes.
- Add mango essence and mix well.
- Serve garnished with cashews and chiroli.
