Ingredients list for Mango Ketchup
- 5 medium Mangoes peeled and seeded
- 1 tablespoon Ginger chopped
- 3 tablespoons Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sea salt
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup White wine
- 1/2 teaspoon All spice powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 Clove
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
Method
- Blend the mango pulp with ginger, vinegar, kosher salt, sugar, white wine, all spice powder, cayenne pepper, clove and cinnamon to a smooth mixture.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Pour the mixture and cook on low heat for an hour or until it gets reduced or thickened.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain it and refrigerate for a day. The ketchup is ready to use.
