Ingredients list for Mac and Cheese Bacon Mini Pots
- 1 cup Macaroni boiled
- ½ cup Processed cheese grated
- 2-3 Bacon strips
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
- 1 cup Milk
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
Method
- Preheat oven at 180°C.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Add bacon strips and cook till crisp and lightly browned from both sides. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Heat butter in another non-stick pan. Add flour and stir continuously till smooth. Add milk and mix well.
- Add salt and pepper powder, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add macaroni, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add half the cheese and mix well.
- Place 4 individual ramekin moulds on a baking tray. Divide the prepared macaroni mixture into each mould equally.
- Roughly chop bacon strips and add over the macaroni mixture. Top each mould with remaining cheese, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
