Ingredients list for Leftover Dal Puri - SK Khazana
- 1/2 cup Leftover dal
- 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil
- to serve Potato sabzi
Method
- Take whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl, add carom seeds, leftover dal and salt and mix well. Add enough water and knead into stiff dough. Add oil and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Divide the dough into equal portions. Apply oil on worktop and roll out each portion into medium sized thin puris.
- Slide the puris into hot oil and deep-fry till puffed and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Arrange the puris on a serving plate and serve hot with potato subzi.
