Ingredients
- 15-20 garlic cloves
- ½ teaspoon oil
- 1 cup dry coconut slices
- 3-4 dried red chillies
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon tamarind pulp
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté well. Transfer in a bowl.
- In the same pan, add coconut and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Transfer in the same bowl and cool to room temperature.
- Place coconut and garlic in a grinder jar alongwith red chillies, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, coriander powder, tamarind pulp and salt. Grind into a coarse powder.
- Serve.
