Ingredients list for Kokum Sharbat - SK Khazana

  • 1/2 cup Kokum petals soaked
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • to taste Black salt
  • 2 teaspoons Roasted cumin powder
  • 4 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • as required Ice cubes
  • as required Fresh mint leaves


  1. Drain the kokum petals and put into a grinder jar, add some water and grind into a fine puree. Reserve the water in which kokum was soaked.
  2. Heat reserved kokum water in a non-stick pan. Add sugar, stir, bring to a boil and cook till the mixture becomes thick.
  3. Take 4 serving glasses, in each glass put 1 tablespoon kokum puree, 1 tablespoon kokum syrup, black salt, ½ teaspoon cumin powder and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Top with sufficient water.
  4. Add some ice cubes and some torn mint leaves, stir and serve immediately.
