Ingredients list for Khurdi

  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1 inch piece Cinnamon
  • 2-3 Green chillies chopped
  • small Onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cornflour/ corn starch
  • to taste Salt
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 5-6 Fresh mint leaves

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cloves, cinnamon and green chillies saute for a minute.
  2. Add onions and cook till it becomes brown in color. Add cornflour and salt and mix well. Add milk and bring it to boil.
  3. Lower the flame and cook till it reaches soup consistency.Serve hot garnished with mint leaves and khichdi
