Ingredients list for Khire Ke Pakore

  • 2 large size Cucumbers sliced thinly
  • 1 cup Water chestnut
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons Black salt (kala namak)
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Wash and wipe dry cucumbers. Halve them vertically and further cut into thin slices.
  2. Mix together water chestnut flour, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black salt and chopped green chillies.
  3. Add sufficient water to make a thick batter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, dip the cucumber slices into the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Drain onto an absorbent paper and serve hot.
