Ingredients for Junglee Mutton - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Mutton cut into 1½ inch pieces on the bone 750 grams

  • Ghee 4 tablespoons

  • Dried Mathania red chillies 15-20

  • Garlic cloves 15-20

  • Salt to taste

  • Coriander powder 2 1/2 teaspoons

  • coriander sprig for garnish

  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a deep pan, add dried red chillies and garlic cloves and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2

Add mutton and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add salt, coriander powder and mix well.

Step 3

Add 5-6 cups water, mix well and let it come to a boil. Cover and cook on medium heat for 35-40 minutes or till the mutton is completely cooked.

Step 4

Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and lemon wedges and serve hot.
