Heat sufficient water in a non-stick heavy bottom pan, add 1 tbsp salt and potatoes. Cook till potatoes are half done. Grease a baking tray with olive oil. Place the potatoes on the baking tray and mash them lightly with a masher. Sprinkle salt and crushed black peppercorns. Add hand torn fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, garlic cloves and butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
