Ingredients list for Hersu Paayasam
- 1 cup Whole green grams (sabut moong) soaked overnight
- 1 cup Thick coconut milk
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3-4 Green cardamoms
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 1 tablespoon Coconut scraped
Method
- Drain the grams and boil in three cups of water with green cardamoms until soft.
- Add sugar and continue cooking till sugar dissolves.
- Add coconut milk and mix. Cook till it just begins to boil.
- Add raisins and serve hot garnished with scraped coconut.
