Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 medium onion
- 1 1/2 cups yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 tablespoon ghee
- 4-5 cloves garlic sliced
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Roasted cumin powder to garnish
- Fresh coriander sprig to garnish
Method
- Take yogurt in a bowl. Chop onion and add it to the yogurt. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well.
- For the tempering, heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add garlic and cumin seeds, saute till light golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder, mix well and saute for ½ minute. Add the tempering to the yogurt mixture and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle roasted cumin powder, garnish with coriander sprig and serve.
