Ingredients list for Grilled Fruits
- 6-7 Gooseberries
- 2 Kiwi fruit peeled
- 1 Ripe banana
- 6-7 Strawberries
- 1 small Pineapple peeled
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 20-25 Fresh mint leaves
- 1 Lemon
Method
- Cook ¼ cup sugar with ¼ cup water to make a syrup. Halve the gooseberries without cutting through. Quarter kiwis and remove the centre core.
- Peel banana, halve horizontally and further halve each piece lengthways. Halve strawberries. Cut pineapple into 1 inch fingers. Put all the fruits into a bowl. Add sugar and mix. Heat a non-stick grill pan and spread the fruits on it and grill.
- Chop fresh mint leaves and add to the sugar syrup and mix. Squeeze juice of lemon, add and mix well. When the fruits are slightly burnt transfer them onto a plate. Drizzle the syrup over and serve.
