Ingredients list for Green Moong And Pepper Dip

  • 1/2 cup green gram (moong) sprouts
  • 1 medium red bell pepper roasted and peeled
  • 6-7 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red chillies
  • 3 tablespo florets olive oil
  • 2 brown bread slices edges discarded
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 bagel bread

  1. Grind together green gram sprouts, bell pepper, garlic cloves, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt, crushed red chillies, 3 tsps olive oil and torn brown bread slices into a smooth paste.
  2. Add lemon juice and mix well. Horizontally slice bagel bread into thin slices.
  3. Heat a non-stick grill pan, brush with little olive oil and place bagel slices on it. Brush the slices with little olive oil and toast till golden and crisp.
  4. Cut the toasted slices into smaller slices and serve immediately with the prepared dip.
