Ingredients list for Ginger Biscuit Pudding
- as required Ginger biscuits
- 2 tablespoons Instant coffee powder
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 3/4 cup Dark chocolate , chopped
- as required Milk
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- for garnishing Crushed biscuits
- for garnishing Dark chocolate shavings
Method
- To make coffee decoction, mix together coffee powder and 1 cup hot water. Dip each ginger biscuit in this coffee decoction and arrange them neatly in a glass baking dish. The biscuits should be arranged one on top of the other in as many rows as can be fitted in the dish.
- To make chocolate sauce, heat butter in a non-stick pan, add dark chocolate and stir till it starts melting. Add milk little by little, and cook stirring continuously till the required consistency is reached. Remove from heat and cool.
- Pour the chocolate sauce all over the biscuits till they are completely covered. Add dollops of whipped cream and spread with a spatula. Top with crushed biscuits and chocolate shavings. Keep the dish in the refrigerator till well set.
- Serve chilled.
