Ingredients list for Ghavan

  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • Oil 1½ tbsps + for drizzling
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Place rice flour in a bowl. Add 1½ tbsps oil and salt and mix well. Add 2 cups water slowly and stir continuously to make a smooth batter. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick tawa and spread a little oil with a tissue paper. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it to a thin round shape.
  3. Drizzle a little oil all around and cook till the underside is light brown. Flip over, drizzle a little oil again and cook till the other side is light brown. Similarly make more ghavan.
  4. Transfer the ghavan on a serving plate and serve hot.
