By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Prawns (kolambi/jhinga), Salt Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Fried Prawn Balls 2 cups Prawns (kolambi/jhinga) peeled and deveined 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1/4 cup Spring onion greens chopped for deep-frying Oil 1/4 cup Cornflour/ corn starch 1/2 Lemon cut into 4 wedges to garnish Pepper salt Method Advertisment Put prawns, salt, black pepper powder and spring onion greens in a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer the mixture into a small bowl. Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Add cornflour to the prawn mixture and mix well. Grease a tablespoon and scoop two tablespoons of the prawn mixture and shape into a ball. Gently lower the balls into the hot oil and deep-fry till lightly browned. Drain on a wire rack. Repeat this process till all the mixture is used up. Place the prawns balls on a serving plate and serve hot, garnished with lemon wedges and pepper salt.
