Ingredients list for Fish Fillet Burger

  • 400 grams Indian salmon or any white fish fillet cut into 4 pieces
  • 4 Burger buns horizontally halved and lightly toasted
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 Eggs
  • to deep fry Oil
  • for coating Refined flour
  • 1 cup Dried breadcrumbs
  • as required Lettuce leaves
  • as required Tartar sauce
  • 4 Cheese slices

Method

  1. Place the fish fillets on a plate, sprinkle salt, black pepper powder, garlic paste and lemon juice and rub all of it on both sides. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  2. Breaks eggs into a bowl and whisk well. Spread refined flour and breadcrumbs on two separate plates.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Coat the fish fillets with refined flour, dip in egg mixture and coat with breadcrumbs and keep them on a plate.
  4. Slide in 2 pieces at a time into hot oil and deep-fry golden-brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Place lettuce leaves on each burger base, place a fish fillet over it, spread a dollop of tartar sauce and place a cheese slice over it. Cover each with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
