By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chickpeas (kabuli chane), Garlic cloves Cuisine Middle Eastern Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 7-8 hour Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Falafel Waffle 1 cup Chickpeas (kabuli chane) soaked overnight and drained 7-8 Garlic cloves peeled 1 Medium onion chopped to taste Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin powder to taste Black peppercorns crushed 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped for drizzling Oil to serve Salad to serve Pickled beetroot to serve French fries to serve Garlic aioli to garnish Micro greens Method Put chickpeas into a food processor jar, add garlic, onion, salt, cumin powder, crushed black peppercorns and parsley and process to a coarse paste. Heat a non-stick waffle iron, grease it with oil and spread some chickpea mixture evenly. Drizzle a little more oil, close the lid and cook for 8-10 minutes or till golden and crisp. Make more waffles similarly.
