Ingredients for FISH FILLET BURGER - skk Recipe

  • Indian salmon or any white fish fillet cut into 4 pieces 400 grams

  • Burger buns horizontally halved and lightly toasted 4

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Garlic paste 2 teaspoons

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Eggs 2

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Refined flour for coating

  • Dried breadcrumbs 1 cup

  • Lettuce leaves as required

  • Tartar sauce as required

  • Cheese slices 4

Method

Step 1

Place the fish fillets on a plate, sprinkle salt, black pepper powder, garlic paste and lemon juice and rub all of it on both sides. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Breaks eggs into a bowl and whisk well. Spread refined flour and breadcrumbs on two separate plates.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Coat the fish fillets with refined flour, dip in egg mixture and coat with breadcrumbs and keep them on a plate.

Step 4

Slide in 2 pieces at a time into hot oil and deep-fry golden-brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 5

Place lettuce leaves on each burger base, place a fish fillet over it, spread a dollop of tartar sauce and place a cheese slice over it. Cover each with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
