Ingredients list for Eggless Chocolate Cake - SK Khazana
- 1 1/2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
- 1 cup + to grease Butter
- 1 cup Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla esssence
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 cup Milk
- for dusting Icing sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a cake tin with some butter and dust a little dry flour. Discard excess flour.
- Take butter, condensed milk and vanilla essence in a mixing bowl and beat with an electric beater till light and fluffy.
- Sieve refined flour, cocoa powder and baking powder directly into the butter mixture.
- Fold in with a spatula. Add milk and mix into a lump-free batter.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared cake tin and tap lightly on the worktop to remove any air bubbles.
- Keep the cake tin in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Demould the cake on a serving plate, dust with icing sugar. Cut into wedges and serve.
