Ingredients list for Eclairs

  • 3/4 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 75 grams Butter
  • a pinch Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • for stuffi Whipped cream
  • for drizzling Melted dark chocolatec

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚ C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick pan. Add butter and salt and keep stirring till it melts. Let the mixture come to a boil.
  3. Add flour and keep mixing till the mixture reaches dough consistency. Switch off heat and transfer the mixture into a bowl.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, and blend with an electric beater after each egg.
  5. Fill a piping bag with the prepared mixture and trim its pointed edge. Pipe out medium sausage shaped portions, 1 inch apart, over the parchment lined tray.
  6. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and cool down to room temperature.
  7. Halve them, stuff with some whipped cream and drizzle some melted chocolate on top.
  8. Serve immediately.
