Ingredients list for Coriander Lavash

  • 3/4 cup Refined Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted Coriander Seeds chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Roasted coriander seeds crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry yeast
  • a pinch Sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt


  1. Combine yeast and sugar with half cup of warm water in a bowl.
  2. Cover and set aside for ten minutes or till frothy.
  3. Sift flour and salt into a bowl.
  4. Make a well in the centre and add the yeast mixture and enough water. Knead well into a smooth dough.
  5. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for half an hour or till the dough doubles in volume.
  6. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out into a circular disc. Cut each disc into triangles.
  7. Brush the triangles with a little oil and sprinkle coriander leaves and coriander seeds on top.
  8. Press lightly.Place the triangles on a microwave proof dish and cook on Microwave HIGH (100%) for two minutes or till golden brown.
  9. Serve hot.
