Ingredients list for Coconut Cooler

  • 2 Tender coconuts
  • 8-10 + to garnish Fresh basil leaves
  • as required Ice cubes
  • 4 teaspoons Chia seeds soaked
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
  • to garnish Lemon slices


  1. Cut off the top of the tender coconuts and drain their water into a glass. Scoop out the flesh and chop it.
  2. Chop the basil leaves. Transfer the tender coconut flesh and basil leaves into 4 serving stemmed glasses.
  3. Add some ice cubes to the tender coconut water. Add chia seeds and mix well. Add salt and lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Pour this evenly into the serving glasses. Garnish each glass with a lemon slice and a basil leaf and serve immediately.
