By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Cinnamon powder Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Cinnamon Chilli Chocolate Cookies 2¼ cups Refined flour (maida) 2 teaspoons Cinnamon powder ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder ½ cup Cocoa powder 1 teaspoon Baking soda ½ teaspoon coarse salt 1 cup Unsalted butter room temperature 1¾ cups Castor sugar (caster sugar) 2 large Eggs Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt into a bowl. Cream together butter and 1½ cups castor sugar in another bowl till light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture and beat till well combined into a dough. Mix together remaining castor sugar, cinnamon powder and chilli powder in a third bowl. Divide the dough into 16 equal portions and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place them on the lined tray, place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, turning them once halfway through. Remove from oven and cool.
