Ingredients list for Cinnamon Apple Cake

  • 175 grams Refined flour (maida)
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon powder
  • 3 Apples peeled
  • 5 Eggs
  • 250 grams Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 250 millilitres Butter melted
  • 4 tablespoons Bread crumbs dry

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the eggs with two hundred grams of sugar until thick and pale. Sift the flour with the baking powder and mix into the beaten eggs along with the melted butter and blend well. Grease a cake tin and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs, then pour in the above mixture into it.
  2. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon powder. Dip the apples in this mixture and arrange them on the cake batter. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180°C for thirty minutes.
  3. It is ready when a skewer inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove the cake from the tin, cut into slices and serve hot.
