Ingredients list for Chocolate Rice Crispies
- 2 cups Milk chocolate , chopped
- 4 cups Puffed rice (kurmura/murmura)
- 1/4 cup Almonds , roasted and slivered
- 1/4 cup Pistachios , roasted and slivered
- 2 tablespoons Butter
Method
- Heat a non-stick pan, add puffed rice and roast lightly.
- Heat sufficient water in a deep pan, keep a glass bowl over it, put the chocolate in it and let it melt.
- Add almonds and pistachios to the puffed rice, mix and continue roasting for 2 minutes.
- When chocolate melts, stir till smooth, add butter and mix well.
- Lightly grease small paper cups and arrange them on a plate.
- Switch off heat and transfer the puffed rice mixture into a large bowl, add melted chocolate and mix well gently.
- Fill the paper cups with this mixture and let themcool down to room temperature. Keep the plate in the refrigerator and chill till set.
- Arrange them on a serving platter and serve chilled.
