Ingredients list for Chocolate Fig Truffle
- 1 cup dark Chocolate roughly chopped
- 1 cup Figs
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ tsp + fo Cocoa powder
- ¼ cup Almonds toasted
- ¼ cup Walnuts toasted
- 1 cup Seedless dates
- ½ cup White sesame seeds toasted
Method
- Heat milk in a non-stick pan, add cocoa powder and mix well and cook till the milk is heated through.
- Put dark chocolate in a bowl, add hot milk and mix well.
- Grind together almonds, walnuts, dates, dried figs and chocolate mixture to a smooth paste. Transfer this into another bowl, add sesame seeds and mix well.
- Spread cocoa powder on a plate.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions, shape them into balls and coat them in cocoa powder. Set aside to cool.
- Arrange the truffles on a serving plate and serve immediately.
