Ingredients list for Chocolate Fig Truffle

  • 1 cup dark Chocolate roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Figs
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ tsp + fo Cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup Almonds toasted
  • ¼ cup Walnuts toasted
  • 1 cup Seedless dates
  • ½ cup White sesame seeds toasted

Method

  1. Heat milk in a non-stick pan, add cocoa powder and mix well and cook till the milk is heated through.
  2. Put dark chocolate in a bowl, add hot milk and mix well.
  3. Grind together almonds, walnuts, dates, dried figs and chocolate mixture to a smooth paste. Transfer this into another bowl, add sesame seeds and mix well.
  4. Spread cocoa powder on a plate.
  5. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions, shape them into balls and coat them in cocoa powder. Set aside to cool.
  6. Arrange the truffles on a serving plate and serve immediately.
