Ingredients for Choco Bite Muffins Recipe

  • Dark chocolate chopped 30 grams

  • Eggs 3

  • Dark chocolate slab 100 grams

  • Sugar 185 grams

  • Butter 200 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 175 grams + 2 tablespoons

  • Baking powder ½ teaspoon

  • Instant coffee powder ½ tablespoon


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Put butter, sugar and cream in a bowl and beat with an egg beater.

Step 3

Break eggs into the mixture, one at a time, add vanilla essence and continue to beat.

Step 4

Put chopped chocolate in a bowl and melt in a microwave.Temper it and add to the butter-sugar mixture and beat again to combine well.

Step 5

In another small bowl, mix the coffee with little water and heat in a microwave for half a minute. Set aside to cool.

Step 6

Sieve the flour and baking powder into the butter-sugar mixture and gently fold in till everything is well combined.

Step 7

Add coffee decoction and gently fold into the mixture.

Step 8

Roughly chop chocolate slab, mix half of it with two tablespoons refined flour and fold into the mixture.

Step 9

Divide equally into muffin moulds, top it up with the remaining chopped chocolate slab and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for approximately twenty minutes.

Step 10

Remove the muffins from the moulds and place them on a serving dish. Serve immediately.
