Ingredients list for Chinese Chicken

  • 200 grams Boneless chicken cut into small pieces
  • 5 Spring onion bulbs
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Schezwan chutney
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 2 stalks Spring onion greens
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds toasted
  • 1/2 cup Fried noodles

Method

  1. Cut the spring onion bulbs roughly. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the spring onion bulbs, chicken pieces and soy sauce, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Add oyster sauce and schezwan chutney, mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and vinegar, mix well and cook till chicken is completely done.
  4. Chop spring onion greens and put into a bowl. Put the chicken into this bowl, sprinkle 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds, crush the fried noodles and add and mix well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle remaining white sesame seeds and serve hot.
