Ingredients list for Chicken Tequila Pasta

  • 400 grams Chicken cut into ½ inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons Fettucini
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic crushed
  • 2 tablespoons Jalapeno chopped
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 1/4 medium Onion thickly sliced
  • 1/2 medium Red bell pepper cut into juliennes
  • 4 cups Fettuccine cooked


  1. Marinate the chicken with soya sauce and salt and refrigerate it for half an hour.
  2. Heat one tablespoon butter in a non stick pan add cilentro, garlic and jalapenos and saute for two minutes.
  3. Add half cup vegetable stock and lemon juice and bring to boil.
  4. Remove and set aside and grind to a smooth paste.
  5. Heat the remaining butter in another non stick pan, add onions and saute till light brown.
  6. Add bell pepper, saute for a minute. Add the marinated chicken toss for five minutes.
  7. Add tequilla, pasta and salt and allow the mixture to boil.
  8. Add the above cilentro sauce and let it simmer for five minutes on low heat.
  9. Remove from heat and serve hot.
