By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Cheese Fondue Main Ingredients Gruyere cheese, emmantal cheese Cuisine Swiss Course Dips Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup gruyere cheese grated 1 cup emmantal cheese grated 2 garlic cloves ½ cup white wine + 3 tablespoons 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon cornflour/ corn starch ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder For topping french bread cut into pieces for serving Method Heat a non-stick pan and rub garlic cloves all around on its inner side. Add ½ cup white wine and let it heat for 1 minute. Add lemon juice, swirl and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add emmantal cheese and mix. Add gruyere cheese and mix till both the cheese melts. Take corn flour in a bowl. Add remaining white wine and mix well to make slurry. Add it to the cheese mixture, mix and cook till it thickens. Add nutmeg powder and whisk well.
