Ingredients list for Cheddar Sausage Bread Roll - SK Khazana

  • as required Cheddar cheese block
  • 3 Processed cheese slices
  • 2 Chicken sausages
  • 1 1/4 cups for dusting Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 pinches Salt
  • 5 grams Fresh yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Castor sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • for brushi Butter melted
  • to serve Tomato ketchup


  1. Take refined flour in a bowl, add salt, mix well and set aside. In another bowl, add yeast, castor sugar and ¼ cup lukewarm water. Mix well and set aside to activate.
  2. Add the activated yeast to the flour mixture along with sufficient water and knead to soft dough.
  3. Add oil and knead to smooth dough. Cover with a cling wrap and set aside to prove.
  4. Preheat the oven at 180º C.
  5. Knock back the dough, and dust the worktop with some flour. Place dough on it and roll out into a large disc. Brush some butter on top.
  6. Grate cheese on top and spread evenly. Place cheese slices on one side of the disc. Top with sausages on it.
  7. Roll tightly into a cylinder and seal by folding the edges and sides inwards.
  8. Place the bread roll on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Bring the tray out of the oven, cut the bread into slices and arrange them on a serving platter.
  10. Serve immediately with a bowl of tomato ketchup.
