Ingredients list for Carrot and Orange Ice Cream
- 2 medium Carrots peeled, cut into roundels and boiled
- 8-10 Orange fresh segments
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 cup Milk powder
- 1 cup Fresh cream
Method
- Blend boiled carrots in a blender to a fine puree.
- Heat milk in a non-stick pan and bring to a boil.
- Combine carrot puree and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well.
- Add milk powder to the boiling milk and stir continuously. Add cream, switch off heat and stir continuously.
- Mix the prepared milk mixture with the sweetened carrot puree and whisk well.
- Take air-tight containers. Layer with ½ orange segments and pour in the prepared mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours.
- Serve immediately.
