Ingredients list for Brun Pav - SK Khazana
- 4 cups Refined flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Castor sugar
- 2 tablespoons Activated yeast
- 2 tablespo for greasing Oil
- to serve Butter
- to serve Masala tea
Method
- Sieve refined flour into a bowl. Add salt and castor sugar and mix well.
- Make a well in the middle, add activated yeast and mix well. Add sufficient water and knead into soft dough. Add oil and knead again till smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.
- Dust flour on the worktop and place the prepared dough on it. Knock back the dough and divide into 6 equal portions. Grease your hands with a little oil and shape each portion into a ball. Place them on a greased baking tray and cover with a damp muslin cloth. Set aside to prove for 20-25 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180º C.
- Gently remove the muslin cloth and spray water over the dough balls. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with butter and masala tea.
