Ingredients list for Boorani Raita

  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 2 cups Thick Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 15-20 Walnuts broken
  • 2 tablespoons Black raisins
  • 2 medium Cucumbers, peeled and grated
  • to taste Salt
  • for garnish Fresh coriander leaves

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add walnuts and sultanas and sauté. Mix together cucumbers and yogurt in a bowl.
  2. Then add walnuts, black raisins, garlic paste and salt and mix well.
  3. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve chilled.
