Ingredients list for Bhakri
- 2 cups + for dusting Rice flour
- 1 cup Drumstick leaves blanched and drained
- 50 grams Bhuna masala
- to taste Salt
- as required White butter
Method
- Finely chop drumstick leaves and place them in a bowl. Add rice flour, bhuna masala, salt and mix well.
- Add hot water as required and knead into soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and rest for a couple of minutes.
- Heat a non-stick tawa.
- Divide the dough into equal sized balls. Dust each of them with a little dry rice flour and flatten into small bhakris.
- Place one bhakri at a time on hot tawa and cook, turning sides, till evenly golden on both sides.
- Transfer the bhakris on a serving plate. Put a dollop of white butter on each bhakri and serve hot.
